Limited Lifetime Warranty
All Burris Windows come with a limited lifetime warranty. This warranty covers only manufacturing defects and no other consumer liability. No other causes for material failure are covered by this warranty. No damages resulting from improper use, acts of God, shifting of the building foundation or any other cause beyond the control of Optimal Windows are covered. This warranty is effective for all TectView window products manufactured by Burris Windows. No representative of Optimal Windows has the authority to change this warranty. Optimal Windows reserves the right to charge an inspection fee if an inspection is required or requested. If it is determined to be a manufacturing defect the inspection fee will be waived. The lifetime warranty applies to single family dwellings only. The warranty is for the benefit of the original purchaser only. In the event the property is sold, the warranty will revert to a 20 year warranty from the original product date of purchase. For all commercial and multi-family dwellings the warranty is for 20 years from the original product date of purchase. This warranty does not obligate Optimal Windows to bear the cost of any labor or transportation of any product replaced or repair.
Vinyl Frames and Sashes
All vinyl components have a lifetime warranty not to chip, crack, peel, or blister. Fading is warranted to be within generally accepted industry standards.
Insulated Cardinal Glass
Insulated Cardinal glass units have a lifetime warranty against material obstruction from the degradation of the LoE coating or moisture. Minor imperfections such as scratches or blemishes in the LoE coating are warranted to be within generally accepted industry standards. Laminated glass is warranted against discoloration of the interlayer for five years and against seal failure for twenty years. Broken glass is not covered under this warranty.
Screens are warranted not to rust or rot for five years. This warranty does not cover torn or damaged screens.
Parts and Components
All other components of the window are covered for lifetime to be free of manufacturing defects. Moving parts should be periodically inspected and cleaned when necessary to insure smooth operation of the product.
